We’re glad you stopped by. A little bit about us, under our first business name; Fairchild Lamb & Wool, we started out selling wool from our Southdown sheep as well as needle felted animals that I made. It was fun. But then, it evolved. Soon, as I was chasing after a bunch kids, helping farm, raising a big garden, and working in Ron’s cabinet shop, I soon was selling roving with my needle felting. Then, one fateful day, the kids and I decided to use some of our goat’s milk to make soap as a 4H project.
The rest is history as we evolved once more to make soap full time. We still have wool, but for now sell it to the shearer. About 6 months ago, we started to grow our product to include lotion bars that contain lamb tallow and local beeswax to niche out our sheep even more.
And we’ll keep growing and evolving, that’s why we felt we had to change our name to reflect that.
And really, you can’t forget the livestock end of it. We have tremendous grassfed lamb that we finish 30 days on grain, as well as a thriving CSA. Our family works very hard to provide you and yours with quality, handmade, locally grown produce and products.
